PNI Media:
Brand Development

branding + marketing collateral + illustration

PNI Media is a software company providing enterprise ecommerce solutions that connect mobile, online, desktop, and in-store kiosk digital content to large retailers. In 2015, PNI rebranded and implemented new corporate objectives to its 200+ employees. Marketing collateral and illustration assets were developed to complement and expand on the new corporate brand identity.

Staying on brand, the graphics were designed using PNI brand colours and all elements are representative of the tech industry and company culture. Brand marketing collateral was displayed around the office on a variety of print formats including banners, canvases, postcards, and wall murals.

OFFICE MURAL

Drawing inspiration from technology and the skylines of PNI’s three offices in Vancouver, Austin, and Boston, the mural is appropriately named “Technology Overload”. Containing only the PNI brand colours, the mural was placed in the common flex-use space where employees converge to eat + play + work in a casual and creatively inspiring setting.

MARKETING COLLATERAL - PNI STRIVE

PNI Media launched the Strive initiative in order to implement new corporate objectives to its employees. An infographic was designed to communicate and promote the core objectives and strategic priorities in a visually appealing way and was displayed on a variety of marketing pieces.

PNI Media: Boardroom Peaks

Mural designs were created to wrap the meeting room doors at PNI Media’s head office in Vancouver, BC. As the rooms are named after mountains that surround the city, each illustration features the mountain and central elements in its environment.

The designs maintain the geometric illustrative style of the main mural in the office (Technology Overload), while allowing it to stand out by featuring a simplified color scheme. Together the murals throughout the office contribute to the company culture of a relaxed office environment that encourages creative expression. This project was a winner of the Winter 2015 HOW In-House Design Awards.
